"Top Eleven" is a soccer manager online game, the latest video on youtube about the game got over 200,000 hits, very impressive. It's a good example for MFN, and where it could go with the right development. cheers, gdb

I haven't played this in awhile, but had fun with it before they got mourinho to endorse it

Rubbish game! Take it from someone who's played many years of 'soccer' games. Great if you want flash and colour and fancy tokens etc, but poor if you want a game like this: all about the game engine and fans/managers who live and breathe the game and want stats and data to analyse...

And the bidding wars over players is a bit ridiculous

soccer games **** when it comes to transfers now I've played NFL. In the past, it was all about which teams could make tonnes of money and buy players for millions just like in RL. This is so so much harder eh! Cap kills me always! :O And the big teams cant just buy the best players - it'll come at a cost

Thanks for the input about the game itself, I was more impressed with the number of users and the video production. I have not played it, my interest was based on the growth and development it has attained. I am totally against having an advantage for someone who has the $$$ to blow on a online game, same as I dont like a lot of advertising, but on the other hand, understand the business side and need to make an income.

Yeah thought that was your point but just wanted to add my opinion as I always felt let down by that game compared to the hype it got. Guess that'ssales and marketing for you!

Thanks for the link

I respect the fans comments - MFN has more substance if less style.

Yet Any game that has as much success as Top Eleven has a lot we could learn from to improve MFN
