Whats up with the hot read?

Its completion rate is absurdly high and TD's off of it are plentiful. Our last game AZ had 14 hot reads to our 0, 2 TDs and 240 yards from it. 240 out of 325 yards passing was from it. Its like this every game we play.

What triggers it? Id really love to see a breakdown league wide of its completion rate, TD success rate, and the amount of passing yards it accounts for from 'normal' pass plays.

You keep blitzing you get blitzed. it has a lot to do with you opponent's qb's intelligence, if they scouted the plays, and if you're calling the same plays over and over

Certainly blitzing is what triggers it

If you blitz over and over it will always hot read if ive scouted the plays u run.

It has "castrated" the best blitzing play in the previous game version, Dbl LB & CB3 Blitz, which I dont include in the defensive playbook any longer due to immediate "hot reads" and severe offensive results. If the majority like the game better as a result, thats the way it is. Myself, I think the correction or "limiter" has swung far too much in the other direction.

my wr3 doubled my wr2 in receptions and yards. I could only assume it was the new system looking at different receivers. hot reads we're only a minor effect in this stat as it was only cited a few times. there are other things that have changed also. age , experience.....but passing is way different....all around.

think pun ran that play almost every time for every game during the beta test in men one. the cb led the league in tackles....so something is way different there also. I still believe intelligence has too strong of an effect and other QB ratings should play more of a part.

vs. the run that blitz and vs the pass I think familiarity should play less of a role

Improve the offensive line intelligence to pickup the blitz. The offense gets way too many big plays the way things are now. Yet if the offense runs the same plays often they don't suffer near as much. Also There needs to be a way to practice with our profiles so we can prevent things like that happening. With the new changes everything has to be setup just right or you get burned.
