NFL Coaches get to pick the best of the cream of the crop to fill out their teams needs and maintain their play philosophy.

College Coaches get to travel all over to get players that fill out their teams needs and maintain their team philosophy.

High school Coaches get what is handed to them and adjust their teams needs and philosophy to the athletes they have on the team.

Who is the better Coach?

Me. Obviously.

You must be meaning OTHER than that, though... since that was so obvious.

Powerhouse high school teams recruit heavily. 2 of the better players from my high school team got free tuition to jump ship to a private catholic school.

I don't think there is a best, because each has different requirements and challenges. For example an NFL coach or College coach usually has a bunch of position coaches they also have to keep on the same page and larger rosters. College coaches tend to have more say so over their teams than NFL coaches but also have a higher rate of turnover they only get their stars a max of 4 years and likely less. Each level has pros and cons and comes out to be about equal in my estimation. The most difficult I think.... is when you are in the NFL and coaching guys your age or older than you.

The average NFL career is 3-4 years, teams have usually turned over 80%+ of their roster every few years in the NFL. Sure you may have some big names play 10+ years with the same team but that is the exception, not the rule.
